Service Description

This group is for anyone interested in mindfulness meditation. Join us to connect with others and practice together. Open to all, whether you are a complete beginner, use an app, went on a course or have years of experience, all are welcome. The well-publicised benefits of mindfulness include stress reduction, mood improvement and reduced anxiety but it can offer much more than this. Groups will be led by Dr James Fish, a GP, and Dr Charlotte Dunkeld, a research Psychologist. The group will run to (roughly) this format: A quick hello Short sit for around 10m Optional check-in - a chance to reflect on how we are feeling in the moment Longer sit for around 30m - this may be a body scan or sitting meditation A chance to share any experiences - 10-20m Optional informal chat afterwards for those who would like to stay We will cover different themes including 'Effortless Practice' and 'Keeping up the habit' Feel free to sit (or lie) how you would like. Sensible options include a chair, meditation cushion or lying on the floor. We hope to accommodate everyone, please let us know beforehand if you have any concerns about physical or mental health needs.

Please book with a rate according to your need. If the supported rate is too high then please message us and we can waive that. We don't want anyone excluded. You can book for multiple people in the same booking.
